Professional Interview with Kristie Holt
Kristie Holt is the owner of a bike company called Local Hub Bicycle Company. Kristie attended University of Louisiana at Monroe. She started her company in 2014, and opened the shop in 2015. Her company is located by Deep Elm. Before she started this company, she worked at another company for nine years. She didn’t really feel comfortable with the job, so she moved on. Kristie took some time off for her to decide what she wanted to do, and she was very passionate about bikes and that lead her to opening the store, Local Hub Bicycle Company.
Kristie has up and down feelings about the local bikes around Dallas for example Lime Bikes, V-Bikes, etc. She loves that more people are being more active with bikes, as in using them instead of cars. These bikes help others take care of the environment. Kristie thinks since she has her company in deep elm there are local bikes in the front of her company. It is hard because she has less customers, because those bikes only cost one dollar an hour.
Kristie is a powerful, independent, woman who has found her way in her long journey!
